Two storm systems collided over the Edmonton International Airport. Funnel Clouds, lightning hitting the tarmac etc. Needless to say the airport was all but shut down in an instant.

This is an amazing picture revealing the particularly sharp structure of this storm and the viewer as a very clear view of the phenomenon. I like the green hue, most often the signature of hail within the storm. It is not too greenish, so the picture doesn't look fake.

I would have like to see a bit more of the storm structure. The portrait-size picture hides some very interesting details at the left of the structure. Maybe shooting in landscape would have revealed such details. However, I understand such framing would have not shown the upper parts of the structure, especially well lightened.

It is indeed a very beautiful picture.

What can I say, I love storms like this.

And especially I love it when someone manage to catch it all as a photo!
I'm stunned over the composition, and how it almost look like a painting!

I'm rather speechless about it, it's so breathtaking beautiful.

One can almost feel the storms power coming out from the photo. Storms like this a deadly beautiful, and so much more fascinating.

There are few of us that manage to capture it's beauty, but you managed to do so, and I'm very glad you did, because it's epic, lethal, and so beautiful.
Bravo.

That eerie green color...you know something bad is rolling your way! What an awesome shot! It really brings out how green the skies look when there's a tornado!
